WELCOME TO THE ABBOTT FAMILY COMMUNITY ON HOOSIER ROOTS

This site explores the family of Edward ABBOTT and Deborah STEVENS of New Hampshire in the 1700's, tracing their line through Dearborn County, Indiana and on to Clinton County, Indiana where my great-great-grandmother Martha ABBOTT married John Thompson JONES in 1868.

Here you will also find some information on the CURRIER, FAULKNER, and HALSTEAD families. To date I have performed very little research on this line. The information I have is based upon notes provided by my aunt, Erma Ruth Jones Walker prior to her death in 2004.
